Our Philosophy
The IMPACTT Academy Learning Triangle + 1

So What Do We Believe
These learning concepts are connected and can provide the child with the key components to not only learn but to be interested and excited about learning.
We believe that the education of our children should be parents, the community, and churches. We don't think that it is feasible that the present educational system will do it.
84 % of black 8th graders are illiterate, and 82% lack math proficiency.
Why?
The Powerful Part Is The Connection
Instead of.....
Instead of:
"Here's a reading course, here are some books, and here are some videos."
IMPACTT Academy can tell parents:
"Start with what your child loves—and use that curiosity to build a love of learning."
For example:
Child loves sharks 🦈
→ Watch an educational shark video
→ Learn new vocabulary: predator, ocean, habitat, species
→ Read a shark-related story
→ Practice reading and comprehension
→ Research where sharks live
→ Learn geography through the oceans
→ Write 5 facts about sharks
→ Create a drawing or project about sharks
We don't just teach children to read. We give them something they want to read about.
That could be a very compelling message for parents.
One important point: I would position Khan Academy, Storyline Online, and the animal/nature videos as resources integrated into the IMPACTT Academy experience, rather than implying that IMPACTT Academy owns or provides those third-party courses. That keeps the concept clear and transparent.
IIMPACTT Academy "Parent Learning Path" for ages 6–10, showing exactly what a parent and child would do for 1–2 hours a day using these three components.
MPACTT Academy "Parent Learning Path"
Ages 6-10
The program combines three powerful learning experiences:
READ → Build reading skills
DISCOVER → Experience great stories
EXPLORE → Learn about animals, nature, science and the world
CREATE → Turn what they learned into something of their own
The goal is not for children to sit in front of a computer for hours.
The goal is to create a balanced 1–2 hour learning experience that includes reading, watching, talking, writing, creativity and exploration.
